Icosatrihedron With 3 Regular Heptagons
sketchfab
This model mirrors the Icosatrihedron with three Affine Heptagons, differing only in "de-skewed" vertices, making all three heptagons regular. View any internal heptagon from where it intersects with the other two, and you'll see this clearly. In my previous affine model, these heptagons were mutually orthogonal, resulting in an unequalateral projection when viewed from this angle. Now, however, they are no longer orthogonal, yet their projection appears as a regular heptagon. The normal to any heptagon in this model closely approximates the intersection of all three heptagons when viewed halfway between the center of a blue triangle and the shared vertex with a yellow triangle. From that angle, checking edge lengths and diagonals confirms the regularity of these heptagons. This "de-skewing" is an adaptation of principles outlined in articles referenced by my previous Affine model, applied here to three-dimensional space instead of a single plane as described in those articles.
