Icosahedron - Onshape FeatureScript
thingiverse
My biology class sparked the idea for this design when we delved into the world of viruses. Learning about Onshape's FeatureScript was a major part of the goal, and I've gained valuable knowledge while working on this project. Additionally, practicing trigonometry has been beneficial since I'm currently taking a calculus class. The link to the feature is: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/21fe442c6fdbdcc9cb2b762c/v/cd375aa1a27586361611008f/e/aff030f8e2b8273743bfc213 This feature should allow users to copy and edit the document's parameters, but I'm unable to verify this without creating a new Onshape account. I still have a few more parameter options to add before completing my original objective. This design utilizes Leon Poot's "Non-Uniform Scaling in Direction" feature, which is truly exceptional.
