Icosahedron

Geometry defines an icosahedron as a polyhedron boasting twenty distinct faces. This name originates from Ancient Greek where εἴκοσι signifies 'twenty' and ἕδρα translates to 'seat'. Icosahedra can be pluralized in two ways: "icosahedra" or "icosahedrons". There exist an infinite array of non-similar icosahedron shapes, some exhibiting greater symmetry than others. The most well-known version is the convex, non-stellated regular icosahedron-one of the Platonic solids- with twenty equilateral triangle faces.
