**<font size=7>Icosahedron Coin Jar</font>** **Dimensions**: When assembled and standing upright, this icosahedron coin jar measures 110mm in width *x* 130mm in depth *x* 103mm in height. *NOTE: The only testing of this print has been done using PETG material.* *NOTE: Two versions are available - one with no text and another with neither text nor a slot.* *NOTE: Over-rotation by a couple degrees is possible when threading, but it will hold its correct orientation easily. A future version may include a thread stop if I revisit this project.* A *regular icosahedron*, a platonic solid, has 20 equilateral triangle faces. This icosahedron coin jar was partly inspired by space stations in the game Elite Dangerous, as well as my interest in geometry. The coin jar prints in two halves that thread together. On my Prusa i3 MK3, the print took about 12 hours at a layer height of 0.2mm. Layout the parts in your favorite slicer as shown above for best results. This coin jar makes a great gift or decorative piece for the house!
