Icosa Snitch

This is an extraordinary stellation of the icosahedron that bears an uncanny resemblance to a golden snitch. How I Came Up with This Idea I have been experimenting with a powerful piece of software called Stella 4D, which was originally designed to delve into the world of stellations of polyhedra. Over the years, the developers have added numerous features and tens of thousands of polyhedra to investigate. The latest version also allows for in-depth exploration of thousands of four-dimensional polytopes. Using this tool, I aimed to create a stellation of the icosahedron with minimal symmetry. After crafting a bug-like shape, it was astutely pointed out to me that it would resemble a snitch if it were just the head and wings. So here is the result.
