This updated phone grip boasts a slightly taller clamp bar piece, while fixing a minor cosmetic gap issue present in the first model. Additionally, the 4mm Hex head screw has been adjusted from 12mm to 10mm for improved compatibility. For more versatility, a 7.5-inch version of the phone clamp piece is available, allowing vertical mounting for phones like Samsung Galaxy series. This clamp is designed specifically for the iControlPad Bluetooth game controller, offering an enhanced experience compared to the original universal phone clamp featuring a plastic rivet. The primary advantage of this design is its easy removability - simply slide off when the tightener is loosened. It also offers better adjustability for larger phones like Samsung Galaxy S3/4 and Notes series. To assemble, you'll need 3x10mm Flat Head Machine Screws, 3mm Hex Nuts, a 4x10mm Hex head screw for the tightener, a 4mm Hex Nut, and optional super/crazy glue for additional security. The pieces were created using Tinkercad and printed with a Printrbot Jr V2 with an aluminum heated bed using PLA at 200°C and a bed temperature of 70°C. The assembly process is straightforward: open the iControlpad, attach the screw-based adapter to the back, slide the tightener into the clamp bar, and secure your phone in place for an improved gaming experience.
