This set was crafted with the aim of retaining the classic look of traditional sets, enabling players to easily adapt to common variations such as Banqi, also known as half chess. The icons were carefully selected to be intuitive for western players to grasp quickly.The board provided is a modified Chinese Chess layout tailored to fit perfectly on standard 8 1/2 x 11 paper. Simply print two copies and join them together with tape to play the full game or use one sheet to enjoy Banqi, a variation I personally enjoy playing frequently.
