[Iconic Ships Series] Transformers Beast Wars Dark Syde from IDW Comics

Here's the counterpart to the the Maximal Exploration Vessal, Axalon - the evil advanced transwarp warship, the Dark Syde! Using the standard Iconic Ships display base, the Dark Syde cuts an evil angular silhouette - very apt for the Preds! This iconic ship also sports a pair of pointy fangs at the front to double up its evil presence! Turning the ship around to get a quick peek of the rearward side, we've added large engine vents, as that's probably how this vessel does its transwarping. And in comparison, here's the DarkSyde alongside the Axalon from earlier, and also it side by side to the original Beast Wars variant of itself! === Assembly === As usual, here's an image showing the exploded view of the various parts of this kit and how they go together. For easier printing, the main body has been split into front and back parts, which can be connected and glued together using a provided peg. The twin engines on either side can be glued onto the body, optionally using 3mm pegs cut to length to help positioning. The pair of front horns will to be glued into place into their corresponding notches at the front of the body piece. The wings peg nicely into the sized hollows in their respective side's engines, Once fully assembled, the entire ship can be positioned atop the stand piece using 3mm pegs. A series of 3mm peg holes have been designed into the underside of the ship so you can choose which pair to use to provide the best balance. ==== And there we have it - the companion ship to the Axalon in the Dark Syde - all ready for launch and pursuit!
