ICOM ID-4100A Mobile Dual-band Amateur Radio Desktop Stand

thingiverse

This is a simple wedge-shaped stand for the ICOM ID-4100A dual-band mobile radio, designed to lift it off any desk and make the screen/buttons more accessible at all times. Its relatively-close dimensions to the older ICOM IC-880H suggest that it should work well with that radio too. This design is the fourth revision and the only one worth publishing. I have also created a complementary enclosure for the Powerwerx SS-30DV power supply, which I use with this radio. When attached to the bottom of this stand, it creates an integrated enclosure and stand system for both units, making desktop space more organized and optimized. The enclosure can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2981349 This model prints perfectly on my MakerGear M2 without rafts or supports. I use Simplify3D to slice the model with ease.
