Icom IC-H16T Earpiece Retention Adapter
thingiverse
This adapter is identical to my T70 adapter, compatible with the same plug types but designed for a more obscure radio model. A clearance hole for the DC jack has been created, allowing for the standard solder type 2.1mm DC jack to fit snugly within. The design concept remains similar, but this variant features a friction-fit mechanism, as the pocket in the radio is smaller than that of the T70 adapter. To maintain the structural integrity of the retention piece, I opted not to weaken it. To print the piece successfully, I oriented my model horizontally, avoiding any potential issues caused by the 1mm extension on the bottom. This approach worked flawlessly with PLA material in my Finder printer. A detailed drawing showcasing the measurements is included for those interested in creating their own adapter.
