Icicles for Neopixels

I'm working with a set of three icicles to craft an incredible Neopixel wonderland. Check out this video that showcases the project in action: http://youtu.be/_0oziTATzxo These icicles fit perfectly into my Washing up bottle Neopixel holder, which can be found on Thingiverse here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:570549. The holder comes with three different sizes, each of which accommodates a breadboard-friendly Neopixel that can be purchased from Adafruit at http://www.adafruit.com/products/1312. When printed in Glacial Blue PLA from Faberdashery's fabulous print materials (http://www.faberdashery.co.uk/products-page/print-materials/glacial-blue/), they look absolutely stunning. Instructions My thread quality isn't perfect, but these icicles work just fine. The largest one seems to generate some odd G-code occasionally, yet they print smoothly nonetheless. Printing time takes about 90-120 minutes per piece - I used most of a 100m roll of filament to create all 15 plus caps. To save plastic and time, the cut-out arches are designed with an eye on aesthetics, shining the LED light at where the solid icicle begins. Given my limited design and printing window, they might be slightly too delicate for certain applications - nonetheless, they still do the job admirably. For additional details regarding the wash-up caps, which have a convenient loop for threading string as support, you can visit their page on Thingiverse.
