Icetube Clock Enclosure
thingiverse
This Adafruit Icetube VFD Clock Kit enclosure consists of one main body and two end panels, along with additional parts such as eight M4 socket-head cap screws (McMaster 91290A176) and eight M4 hex nuts (McMaster 9865A200). A jumper wire is also required. New Icetube kits work best with the enclosure, as the VFD's angled header needs specific insertion; however, it can be desoldered and flipped for older models. Follow these steps to assemble: 1) Connect the VFD breakout board to the main circuit board using a jumper wire; 2) Slide both boards into the enclosure, aligning openings with components; 3) Attach the boards to the bottom pegs of the enclosure; 4) Optionally, add a spacer inside an end panel for VFD tube support; 5) Fasten the enclosure ends using the screws and nuts provided.
