Icemaker Drive Gear Replacement (Small)
thingiverse
Both drive gears had broken teeth on my GE/Whirlpool ice maker. I found the larger gear already on Thingiverse, but not the smaller gear. This is the smaller drive gear that connects to the motor shaft. I printed this with 1.6mm walls and 1.6mm top/bottom layers, which resulted in no space for infill. I used PETG for durability. Use a flathead screwdriver and/or a claw hammer to pry the old gear off of the splined shaft. Install the new gear by starting it by hand and then gently tap with a hammer until the front of the shaft is flush with the gear. The large gear is available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1027096 Based on [this](http://www.partselect.com/PS380968-Whirlpool-628210-Icemaker-Drive-Gear.htm) link, this gear will work on the following brands: Whirlpool, Admiral, Estate, Inglis, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Roper, Maytag, Crosley, Jenn-Air, Hardwick, Magic Chef, Amana, Caloric & Glenwood.
