The drive gear shattered on my Whirlpool icemaker. I removed the three small tabs from the original version, realizing they served no practical purpose, and created a simplified design instead. This repair has been functioning smoothly for over a month now, indicating that the frigid temperatures aren't too harsh on the PLA plastic. If and when the part begins to fail, I will provide an update.
