Icelandic Leaf Bread pattern cutter

This is a pattern cutting tool for cutting patterns into traditional icelandic leaf bread/snowflake bread. Leaf bread is a very thin deep fried bread or cakes prepared as part of christmas preparation in Iceland. They are decorated with patterns cut with various methods but usually with a knife or a wheel like this.A classic pattern is created by rolling the wheel over the cake and then flipping every other cut.The model is made from 3 parts: Pattern wheel, axle and handle fork. I suggest printing the wheel with a fine nozzle e.g. 0.2mm. The handle should be printed lying flat. Handle and axle can be printed with a larger nozzle, e.g. 0.6mm. Good results can also be had with a 0.4mm nozzle for all parts. The whole assembly is the put together by inserting the axle through the pattern wheel and then snapping the axle into the fork into the indentations. Design was done in Fusion 360 and the model file is included. Feel free to improve on my design but remember to share your work and to attribute the original design and designer. Edit: 2022-12-07 3mf/stl files replaced with updated versions. Changes:Twist angle on pattern wheel reduced from 45deg to 40deg. This makes it easier to print and avoids overhang issues on the lower half of the wheel.Depth of holes on handle for axle made slightly deeper to lower the chance of the wheel popping out when pressed. Axle lengthened correspondingly.
