The initial 3D model was developed using Sketchup 8 and then transformed into various 3D formats with the native file format being .skp. It was later rendered using 3ds Max 2016 and Vray 3.00. The creator of this model, AirplaneNerd777, has also contributed to it. The old model will soon be deleted. Icelandair is the main airline in Iceland with its headquarters at Reykjavik Airport, Reykjavik. On February 13th, 2013, they finalized an order for 16 Boeing 737 MAX 8s and 9s, in addition to having eight purchase rights for more Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
