Icecube Mold - Requires Flexible Filament
thingiverse
A parametric ice cube mold designed for a local Cocktail Bar. We created this mold using Flexible Filament, as PLA or ABS won't yield successful prints. The resulting ice cubes will break when attempting to remove them from the mold. Bold font is recommended for easy removal of the ice cubes. This OpenSCAD file is highly customizable and serves as a starting point for your own designs rather than being used as-is. We utilized ExcelFil TECH Flex for this print, achieving great results with this material. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer Model: Ultimaker Original Rafts: No Rafting Required Supports: Not Used Resolution: 0.1mm Layer Thickness Infill: 15% Infill Density Notes: The print was completed at a slow speed of 20mm/s due to the Bowden Extruder's fiddly nature on the UM2. A second print with a Prusa i3 at 50mm/s produced excellent results. Post-Printing Instructions: Making Ice Cubes is Easy! Best Results Using Pre-Boiled Water for Clear Ice
