IceCream on a Cone
thingiverse
#Update 02/03/2020 - Added a custom ice-cream with chocolate syrup drizzled on top with sprinkles at Damsel_flyy's request. My daughter wanted me to create an Ice-cream cone for her because the filament I received from my monthly GeekBox subscription was Minty Ice-Cream and Peachy Ice-Cream PLA Filament. I found a highly accurate cone made by Drawpen (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:451445); however, there were no real good ice-cream scoops available, so I created my own using Sculptris. I designed them to fit on the Drawpen cone and printed it with wood filament. The scoops are designed to fit on one another, allowing you to have as many scoops stacked. I also designed an insert for the cone so the first scoop will sit on top. The cherry and whip cream topping may be a little difficult to print due to its stem, but it makes a great topping. I wonder if I should make alternate toppings like drizzled chocolate or sprinkles? It almost looks too good to eat...enjoy! The only issue I dislike is that the parts don't snap together. I'm working to get them to do this. I used hot glue to stick them together. 1.) Print Drawpen's cone (I printed it with wood filament) 2.) Print cone insert (any color works fine, but black is good) 3.) Print scoops (assorted colors would look nice...print as many as you like) ![stacked cone][id] 4.) Print cherry topping (print with white filament then paint the cherry) 5.) Print stand (optional) GeekBox: https://www.makergeeks.com/products/3d-geek-box-monthly-filament-3d-geek-box [id]: https://mojosavings.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/ice-cream-cone.jpg "Like this..."
