At its core, this nifty gadget employs a Peltier element measuring just 4x4 cm in size. It's no secret that this low-cost heat pump comes at a reasonable price and gets the job done efficiently. It works by transporting heat from one side to the other - instant gratification guaranteed. All it takes is some electric current flowing through that magical Peltier element, and watch as one side heats up while the other side cools down seamlessly. Peltier elements and their respective heat sinks can be easily sourced in hobby electronics shops. However, remember that when choosing a large enough heatsink at the hot side of things - all will be well, but only if that fan you're using is more than powerful.
