Ice Sphere mold
thingiverse
So you're thinking of crafting large spherical ice for drinks and have a 3D printer on hand, making it the perfect opportunity to utilize its capabilities. However, simply printing an ice mold might not be the best approach since the plastic used may or may not be food safe, leaving you uncertain about that aspect. To address this concern, you want to 3D print a mold specifically designed for use with a food-safe mold making material like CopyFlex from makeyourownmolds.com. Additionally, you'd like the flexibility to choose the size of your ice sphere. If all these requirements sound familiar, then you're in the right place. Simply customize the design to your preferred size, print it using any available material (as this model is an easy print requiring no supports), and then proceed with pouring the mold making material into the newly printed mold. From there, you can begin creating ice spheres. A few tips: make sure to spray your 3D printed mold with cooking spray for easier removal of the finished product. As for personal experience, I ended up damaging my own 3D printed mold in the process. Perhaps you'll have better luck than me.
