Ice scrapers with credit card blade

I was chipping away at ice on my windshield last week when I discovered that my scraper was actually making things worse by leaving behind more ice than it was removing due to a worn-out blade. However, I didn't want to part with my trusty scraper holder that wrapped around my hand, keeping it warm and cozy. So, I decided to get creative and come up with a replacement. The compact version of this new scraper fits neatly into the handle (the black section in the photos), but I also designed one with a full handle as an option while I was at it. I wanted to make sure that I could easily replace the blade when it started to chip away, so I incorporated a design feature that allows me to swap out old gift cards cut to size and slipped into the slot at the front. This way, I can simply swap them out when they become worn down. To take things to the next level, I added some frost deflector technology (the small curved piece at the front) to redirect any stray ice crystals away from my hand. I'm still undecided about whether this feature should be a bit larger, so I'll have to do some further testing before making a final decision. So far, I've only had a chance to use it twice on mild frosty days and haven't quite figured out the optimal amount of card to leave sticking out for maximum performance yet. The amounts shown in the photos seemed to work okay, but I'm eager to get more feedback from others who may have tried this approach.
