Ice Scraper Flag (No Support)
thingiverse
The cold snap really bit down this morning, and my "brand new" Golf wasn't equipped with an Ice Scraper, so I had to come up with a makeshift one :) This is my Ice Scraper designed to resemble the Swedish flag. It can easily be printed out as either the Finnish or Danish flag, too - and some other nations are doable. Maybe I'll create a Norwegian flag if someone wants it. This project was made possible by www.protech.se Instructions Remember that if you print this on your MakerBot with a solid model interior, the model design might warp up pretty quickly. You could try to print with a higher temperature if you have issues with warping. The X2 would need a higher temperature set on the build table. If you're using Insight, a good way to print it is to use more contours, found under custom groups, and sparse high-density interior. In Insight and Catalyst, the pause can be inserted during the slicing and the printer will automatically pause before it starts with the layer containing the pause. On MakerBot Desktop, you'll currently need to manually pause during the print. It's different on each machine, so get a handle on it first.
