My Ice Machine's Motor Died Because the Sensor Wasn't Positioned Correctly Out of the Factory. The Tray Crashed into the Coolant Lines, Blocking the Motor, Which Eventually Went Bad After Two Weeks. To Fix It, I Bought a New Motor for €12 from eBay and a Custom Mount for the Sensor. The Sensor Slides Into This New Mount, Allowing Me to Experiment with Different Positions Until the Tray Is at Least 5mm Away from the Coolant Lines When Up. I Used a Small Magnet or Broke a Larger One into Smaller Pieces That Fit Inside the Tray. Then I Screwed the Mount in Place and Could Slide the Sensor Up and Down to Find the Optimal Spot. These Ice Machines Have Various Names and Versions, So Make Sure You Get the Correct Tray and Magnetic Sensor for Your Specific Model. I Printed the Custom Mount in PLA with 25% Infill
