Ice Fishing Rod

Wanted to create some ice fishing rods, designed these and printed them on the same day, then went fishing with them. Rotated the parts to print on their flat side. Modeled them so no supports were necessary. Used a 16-3/8 inch wooden dowel; the parts fit together tightly without needing glue. Added holes for large zip ties that secure the spool. Also applied electrical tape to prevent the ends from snagging fishing lines. The stand requires two more dowels and a short one for the rod support clip. You can now print your own plastic fishing rod if you don't have a wooden one. I added the model, but haven't tested it yet. Happy Printing/Fishing! Post your projects!
