Ice Cube Maker Cup (Pro)
thingiverse
What a thrilling (And challenging!) print this is. Stunning to behold but also incredibly useful! The concept is straightforward: place the inner cup into the outer cup, fill the space between with water, and stick it in the freezer. Once frozen, remove the inner shell, squeeze the cup, and voilà! --- 70 Ice cubes in a single cup! TIP: You can also use this as a cooler for cans and bottles by leaving the inner cup intact. Please share your creations and **I appreciate getting a Like in return for my efforts.** UPDATE April 17, 2018: The inner shell is now an inner Cup. Initially, I worried that the cup would be pushed up by the water but the friction between both cups should be enough to hold it down. This eliminates any risk of leakage at the bottom. Then I added horizontal channels between the ice cups for easier and faster filling. UPDATE April 20, 2018: I modified the top flat edge to a 45-degree angle, making it simpler to print without supports... possibly also easier to fill. Please note that only the STL file has been updated. Suggestions for improvement are more than welcome...
