Ice cube lamp
thingiverse
Playing with blocks that had to be printable led to this stunning ice cube lamp (or is it actually a magnificent sugar block)? It now proudly sits in my cozy living room. I cleverly inserted an LED lamp inside it to prevent overheating. Printing the entire structure took just 3 days and 14 hours, using 90 meters of filament with 'normal' settings in Cura or an impressive 1 day, 22 hours, and 76 meters with 'draft' settings – both resulting in a satisfying rough texture that perfectly fits the concept of ice cubes or sugar cubes.
