ICE 3 Top Light - Spitzenlicht

This is a model of the ice 3 top light. It's built with WS2813 led rings and a center white power LED for undipped lighting. The controller is an Arduino Nano and a MCP2515 for CAN bus support. The 3D printed inner (red) and outer (green) parts are mounted between an acrylic plate to protect the LEDs (they're mounted in the inner part) from water. For a standard train light setup, you'll need three lamps of these. # UPDATE 1 I built a small schematic with a 12-neopixel LED ring and a 3-watt Cree LED. The test was good; all parts fit perfectly. The next step is to add an fan for the power LED. # UPDATE 2 I uploaded new inner_part with a 30x30mm fan mount. # PARTS * FAN https://www.ebay.com/itm/30x30-12v-DC-Cooling-fan-30mm-Lufter-3010-Reprap-3D-Drucker/ * HEATSINK https://www.ebay.com/itm/5stk-30-x-30-x-8-mm-Silber-Ton-Kuhlkorper-Aluminium-Kuhler-Kuhlrippe-ausstrahlen/ * CREE LED https://www.ebay.com/itm/Led-Chip-3W-Cree-Watt-Star-Platine-Hochleistungs-High-Power-248-lumen-HighPower/ * PWM LED DRIVER: https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-35V-3W-700Ma-Pwm-Dimming-Dc-To-Dc-Buck-Step-Down-Constant-Current-Led-Driver/ * ARDUINO NANO (without headers) https://www.ebay.com/itm/1x-3x-5x-10x-Nano-V3-Modul-ATMega328-P-CH340-16MHz-miniUSB-Arduino-kompatibel/ * MCP2515 DRIVER https://www.ebay.com/itm/MCP2515-CAN-Bus-Modul-mit-TJA1050-Transceiver-5V-For-Arduino-Raspberry-Pi-New/ * NEOPIXEL 12x LED RING https://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-Ring-mit-12x-WS2812-5050-RGB-LEDs-Arduino-Raspberry-Pi-DIY-ahnl-Neopixel/
