Daedalus was a legendary craftsman, renowned for his incredible ingenuity. He crafted magnificent waxen wings for himself and his courageous son Icarus, who shared in the excitement of flight. Together they soared into the sky, but unfortunately, poor Icarus flew perilously close to the scorching sun. His delicate wings were severely damaged by the intense heat, causing him to plummet into the sea.
