A Handy Device for Realigning Integrated Circuits REQUIRES: 1: Custom-designed 3D-printed components 2: Socket head cap screws, size #4-40 x 1.25 inches (McMaster #92196A302) 2 needed 4: Compression springs with dimensions 0.3" OD x 3/8" length (McMaster #1986K77) 4 needed Note that the screws and springs can be locally sourced or substituted for comparable components. ASSEMBLY: Thoroughly clean any excess material from the printed pieces as required Suggested but not essential: use a tap to widen the smaller holes and prevent potential cracking Insert screws into the piece featuring counterbored holes Carefully combine the components according to the photo - apply gentle pressure with one hand while screwing in the two socket head cap screws Fine-tune the screw tension until the desired movement distance is reached Use your creation as intended
