I wasn't thrilled about the original Thing relying on Vitamins to function - it needed screws and springs to get going. So I decided to give it a complete overhaul, opting for printed PLA springs and an integrated guide rail instead. This redesign was done with one specific use case in mind: flat surfaces. Some minor adjustments were made to the center part's dimensions, giving it a slightly wider footprint than its predecessor. Since this new design borrowed heavily from the original, I'm flagging it as a remix. Big thanks go out to jeffthompson for sparking this creative process!
