A 3D model shows an engine's transmission system, which consists of a friction clutch and gearbox. Visible on the engine flywheel are gear teeth used by the starter motor to start the internal combustion engine. Two clutches appear in the model: one standard for cars, another "basket" design common in motorcycles. A manual or standard gearbox functions by linking an orange gear to the output shaft, allowing the orange gears resting on the shaft but not fixed, to transfer power through a fixed gear on the layshaft connected to the input shaft, driven by the engine, closing the link enables power delivery to the wheels using internal cones, synchronizer sleeves, external cones and drive dogs.
