The AT IC 1 motor is a gasoline version line motor with 4 cylinders, double overhead cams and 16 valves. It features two fuel tanks, one containing nitrous oxide and the other ethanol. The nitrous oxide tank's chamber is filled with oil and heated by coils, with an air pipe distributing cold to the oil for temperature regulation. Depending on ambient temperature, either fuel source heats or cools the oil to a deflagration-inducing 600°F (315°C), with nitrous oxide used after a brief ethanol warm-up. Additional features include an SU-type carburetor, dynamo, magneto ignition, centrifugal pump, gear oil pump, simplified thermostat, and fuel injectors for direct nitrous oxide injection. The wet sump oil system ensures lubrication, while a diaphragm ethanol pump is non-essential due to gravity-powered supply. Air stream regulation occurs via carburetor valves and an air meter, with a manifold pipe valve controlling the flow of air+gasoline into combustion chambers. For water circulation details, refer to the IC_1_setups model and text. The system was inspired by Trevor Langfield's nitrous-only design from NOSwizards.
