IC Chip Magnetic Box
thingiverse
Instead of storing my ICs for school in a plastic bag and constantly having to dump and flip them over to find what I wanted, I figured a more stylish solution was in order. This is a magnetic clasp box made to store around 40 pieces of 14 pin IC chips. The design is based around 140mm X 95mm anti-static foam pads that I received in a component order, but you can easily cut some out yourself if need be. It also accomodates 2mm thick by 4mm diameter circular magnets. If using the hidden magnet option, you will need to edit the gcode to pause the print at the correct layer to insert the magnets. You may need to dab some gluestick on the bottom to keep them from spinning in the holes as well.
