I'm integrating an IF buffer amplifier into my Icom IC-718 to enable the use of an RTL-SDR as a versatile panadapter tool. Fortunately, there was an accessible hole at the back of the chassis, allowing me to create a custom bushing that securely mounts an SMA connector in its place for seamless integration.
