This is a re-mix in order to support a BNC male to BNC Female right-angle adapter as shown in the pictures. BNC is my QRP standard and I use wire antennas at HF, so was not looking to support a PL259 based vertical. However I was looking to support a V/UHF antenna to which I fitted a BNC to SMA adapter. This uses a connector bought from the UK eBay store of M0MAT - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154559475728?hash=item23fc767010:g:bOAAAOSwC-ZhDT2E The dimension of the plug across the "flats" is 9.5mm.
