IBM PS/2 Late 80's Computer Case Project Box Accessories
thingiverse
I'm working on an old IBM Personal System/2 computer, built around 1987-89 for my electronic project box. After gutting the system, I wanted to reuse the original 120VAC power switch connected to the front panel. To accommodate this, I also created a drive bay faceplate with embedded LEDs. Modifications will be needed to the case to ensure a proper fit. Drawing changes can be made to the tabs, but they might compromise their structural integrity. I'll add more components as they become necessary for my project. The instructions below detail my experience with 3D printing this piece: I printed it using standard ABS material at a 0.2 layer height. The LED panel prints easily without supports, which is what I did. Although some deformation occurred to the tabs, it wasn't a major issue. Printing with supports might be more advisable, but I neglected to check that option and don't feel like reprinting it now.
