The initial goal was to make this machine a lot more quite so I put some damping foam beneath it and filled the empty top piece with an elastic silicone. Its still loud but not as much and the sound is deeper so nicer to the ears. After that i designed a new chute, the old one was broken and also as the grinder has a big dead volume i designed an open chute where i can easily access the grinder outlet and scrap the residue out. I got the dead volume from 2g down to .1 g. But I'm not perfectly happy with that and i need to revisit the chute because there's a lot of spilling now. It prints in about 20 min on an Ender v3 like machine. Another attempt to make this machine quiet was to improve the huge hopper with the "popcorning" beans. I hugely decreased the volume, since I'm using this as a single dose machine, my first attempt was a hyperbolic hopper to improve the mass flow instead of core flow but i highly suggest to not do it. It also amplifies the resonance like an gramophone and the popcorning was still present. Also coffee beans have a good flow characteristic so a normal shape is good enough. The new design got an build in bean stopper, is even smaller and also less noisy. so i can fit max 19 g in it without having the needing of an lid. It also prints without support. Don't remember how long the print took i think 4-5 hours but at very high quality. i was tinkering for some tome now to tilt the machine like the niche so that the grind flow would be better an less agglomerates. But due to the lack of my CAD skills I haven't tried tho design something (I designed everything in Thinkercad which i hate). Gladly I found the exact file i was searching for on printables yesterday, printed it and it came out pleasing. The only thing i would try to improve is to cut down the mass so i have less to print/material use. Took me 7 hours to print. I Highly  recommend to use this too https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5791046 but be aware of the weight inside the grinder. It can easily fry your Bord if you wont keep it out or secure/insulate it!!!!!!! Last one is what i did.for the painting i used heat resistant paint, the usual procedure. Sanding, cleaning and layer after layer till it looks good. First black and after that i used matte gold sprinkles so it has a nicer look. Its a very simple machine so disassembly was strait forward. I just took a picture to remember where the cables belong. I did the painting on my Espresso machine as well. Its an Kitchenaid Artisan, so basically an Gaggia Classic with an extra boiler for the steam.Everything can be printed without support by the oriantation given. Quality was .2 for the hopper and .1 for the chute with a .4 nozzle and PLA. If you like it, you can tip it if you want :) https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/dariusdoesthings
