Ian swung by the Big Bang Fair and got a close-up scan from our 3D scanning rig, which packs an incredible 96 DSLR cameras that snap a whopping 1.8 Giga pixels of data for each scan.\nWe teamed up with CapturingReality.com to process the data - their software expertly analyzes each image to identify unique points on each one, then plots these points in 3D space if they appear on more than one image.
