Ian McMillan's Homeward Bound

The Yorkshire poet, radio celebrity and creative genius that is Ian McMillan has a running joke that at whatever train station he is at, that was where Paul Simon wrote the lyrics for "Homeward Bound".Widnes Railway Station has a plaque. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Widnes_railway_stationThis is a spoof of that plaque to the best of my ability in Tinkercad. There is an appreciative comment to Ian McMillan on the side of the model.Print SettingsPrinter:Artillery Sidewinder X2 (0.4mm nozzle)Rafts: NoSupports:NoResolution: 0.2Infill:10%Filament:Sunlu PLA+Golden yellow Notes: I used the https://svgcreator.com to create an SVG of the Widnes Council plaque in Wikimedia so that I could scale the lettering as best as I could in Tinkercad. Fake screws created for completeness and rotated as they are in some other photographs. UPDATE: I have added a more general version of the model too, so if you are in a dental surgery, for example, and see this, you know where it has come from. I'm not keen on posting files that I have not printed, but that 2nd version has been fixed by Netfabb via PrusaSlicer. And also now Shoreham-By-Sea station and then Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch station. And a mention to the Bard of Barnsley himself, who kept me company on drives down the A1 back in the mid-90's, and times afterwards. Thank you.Category: Props
