The Ilyushin Il-76, also known as Candid, is a multi-role four-engine tactical airlifter developed by Ilyushin design bureau in 1967. Initially designed for commercial use as an An-12 replacement to transport heavy cargo to remote regions of the USSR, it now serves various roles such as strategic transporter, air refueler, and command center/AWACS for the Indian Air Force (IAF). This depicted variant, A-50E/I Phalcon, is equipped with an Israeli Phalcon radar system for airborne early warning and control.
