Update: I'm blown away by the superior quality of the remixes. The one located at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:795954 truly takes this to a new height, and I highly recommend downloading it instead. This z-mount design for the MakerFarm i3v dramatically reduces z-wobble and potential backlash. Additionally, it unlocks approximately 25mm of extra X-travel space because the original mounts are slightly oversized. To secure the mount carrier in place, you'll need a 50mm spring, but feel free to reuse the existing nuts. To assemble the piece: Print out the part, then push the original nut into the carrier section of the mount. Next, insert the spring into the recessed area to keep everything in place. It's crucial that the nut is seated at the top of the X-carriage for optimal functionality.
