I3 Rework / Wilson X-Carriage for T2.5 belt (with SW source)
thingiverse
This revised Wilson X-Carriage shares a nearly identical feature set with mrice's Wilson model, differing only in compatibility with the T2.5 belt standard as opposed to GT2. Visually speaking, I allowed my creativity to flourish, rounding off multiple edges to deliver a refined appearance with silky smooth surfaces. Your attention is greatly appreciated; hopefully this offering will benefit someone positively. **Printing Parameters** This Wilson X-Carriage was produced from PLA with a 0.75 density infill, nozzle width set at 0.4 mm, heated bed at 40°C, and an extra layer of glue stick for added grip on the initial layer. The chosen software combination comprised Repetier version 0.95F paired with Slic3r RC2; slicing worked without incident, save for one small issue - the recess to the left side of the LM8UU received some excess material during the process, but this did not affect print quality. I look forward to giving it another attempt in future with a later iteration of Slic3r. Mounting components involved attaching extruder using M4 pozidriv head screws. The screw heads were a touch too large for compatibility with this particular design, requiring slight filing down in a drill press after reworking to an acceptable size.
