i3 Rework Printable Spool Holder

This is a printable spool holder designed specifically for i3 single plate and Rework variant 3D printers, exactly as created by Thinkyhead and made available on his Thingiverse repository. We use this exact design for all machines in our bot farm. The files include the original Openscad source code, allowing you to easily customize the parts to fit your unique needs. There are two variations included, but we specifically use the i3sh 608 plate configuration in our builds. To assemble, simply attach an M8 threaded rod through each spool holder and secure a 608 bearing on either side of the holder. The Openscad file is fully parameterized, enabling you to adjust the dimensions to match your specific filament reel size requirements. We print the parts using PLA material, with a layer height of .3mm and 40% infill density. This design has been serving us well for nearly two years now, and Thinkyhead made significant updates to it during the summer of 2014.
