These are the NewStyle 40x22.5mm end pieces designed specifically for 3mm acrylic sheet and featuring 1/2"x1/2"x.055" aluminum angle stock for framing purposes. They utilize only two 4mm screws, boasting deeper slots for the angle stock which is now a full 2.5mm wider. November 10, 2015 saw the addition of a crucial middle support piece to accommodate large spans without compromising structural integrity. These end pieces have been successfully utilized in building an enclosure for my i3 Prusa printer (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:970379), and their versatility makes them suitable for enclosing various types of equipment.
