A custom dual LED strip holder designed specifically for the i3 family of printers, tailored to fit my Cocoon Create Touch (i3 Plus clone) perfectly. The factory fan mount is not used due to the rear mounted Cobra cooler (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1090433). The offset screw pillars secure the lights precisely in the centre of the hotend. When using a 24V system, wire the two strips in series - no resistors are necessary. For 12V systems, simply wire them in parallel. Some re-wiring and splicing are required to connect the LED holder to the printer's electronics. I connected the power from my i3 Plus clone's extruder fan 24V supply, and the current draw is minimal without affecting fan speed or function. I used a servo motor connector for easy on/off control of the LEDs and quick removal of the LED mount if needed. A small switch would be handy but is not essential. Print with the flat side facing down on the bed to achieve optimal results. Required materials: * Two M3x10mm screws * Two 10x50mm LED strips * Small gauge wire * Small switch (optional)
