i3 MK2/MK3 Pi Camera case and stands
thingiverse
Yet another showcase for the Raspberry Pi v2 camera module. Snap the lid shut, then attach multiple mounts. The MK2 mount clips onto the 10mm Y-axis threaded rods with ease. The MK3 mount is designed to be mounted directly onto 3030 extrusions such as those used in the upcoming Prusa i3 MK3. The case comes equipped with a thumb wheel that accepts a 3mm nut and a standalone base that can be attached to any slat surface. An M3-30mm screw securely attaches the case to any of the bases. Additionally, an optional clip is included to hold the case together if the internal clips fail. Both mounts feature bases that slip onto a pin and can rotate freely. A hole is provided for attaching a screw to lock the case down, but it's not necessary due to the snug fit. The MK2 mount boasts integrated cable clips, while the MK3 uses separate clips that are modified versions of the Prusa supplied clips for LED cables. Supports are required for the MK3 mount. To mount in the opposite orientation, use the slicer mirror option. OpenSCAD source files are included for all parts, allowing you to customize and print them with ease.
