These are designed to replace the factory fan box around the hot end. The left side adds two millimeters of extra clearance between the cooling fan frame and the heater block. It also features a circular cutout that makes space for the fans metal lip and allows it to sit flush against the part. This is crucial when upgrading to an E3Dv6, as the heater block is wider than the Anycubic factory version, causing the cooling fan frame to rub up against it. The front piece aligns perfectly with the notch on the side piece. Original screws can be used, but three 3mm nuts are needed to secure everything in place. A few extra 3mm nuts can be used as spacers when attaching to the cooling fan, or the original plastic spacer can be trimmed down to fit the gap.
