i3 Extended Spool Holder

This is an extended spool holder designed for use with i3 printers, and I am utilizing it in conjunction with my filament guide (check out: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1739915), but it is only necessary when mounting on the base unit. For some reason the stock spool holder that comes with the i3 printer is not long enough to hold many spools, this one is 80mm long, just long enough to fit almost any size spool. Print with supports. If you are having trouble generating supports I have included a model with supports generated in meshmixer. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Enjoy! Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Maker Select v2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: Print spool holder vertically with supports enabled. Print nut laying down with no supports. No raft necessary. I printed it in pla, though any filament should work. Threading might not be super smooth at first, just work the nut up and down the threading until it smoothes out.
