I was thoroughly unimpressed by the linear bearings from the factory, to be honest, when they weren't loose, they were binding terribly. So I took matters into my own hands and designed this alternative. This is a 3-point linear rail bearing that truly stands out - you have to feel it to believe it. It has no play whatsoever, as in none, zero tolerance for movement. Its smoothness is simply sublime; you'll be sliding it back and forth on your rod with ease, oblivious to the curious glances from others. This design doesn't discriminate between rods of different sizes - it works flawlessly with 8mm rods, regardless of whether they're 7.8mm, 8.1mm, or 8.2mm in diameter. However, I must stress that using two of these bearings is not recommended; you won't be able to align your rails adequately, so it's best to use the block with side play allowance instead.
