I.R.A. Interacting Remote Avatar This project focuses on developing a robot consisting of interchangeable parts, allowing users to represent themselves remotely. The I.R.A. is primarily a robot body serving as the foundation for a remote-controlled robot. This project serves as the starting point for creating robot parts to enhance I.R.A.'s abilities. Additionally, it will be possible to create and connect different robot parts in future projects. The I.R.A. features a Raspberry Pi computer that connects all robot extensions via CAN bus, enabling interaction with user-built projects and ideas. The first version of the I.R.A. includes a power supply providing 12V, 5V, and 3.3V for extensions. A front-end developed in Unity will control different project parts and user-created extensions. The design of extensions is flexible, requiring only CAN bus and mechanical connections to link them to the I.R.A. Developers must also create a Unity asset to control their own extensions. With I.R.A. and at least one movement extension, users can interact remotely and represent themselves in various environments.
